ERGO Group AG Taps CamCom Technologies to Digitize Claims with AI Visual Inspections

Bengaluru: In a major leap for India’s deep-tech landscape, CamCom Technologies, a Bengaluru-headquartered computer vision company, has entered a landmark strategic partnership with ERGO Group AG, one of Europe’s leading insurance providers.

As part of the agreement, CamCom Technologies will act as the exclusive technology partner for ERGO’s AI-driven visual inspection solution, now live in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, with plans for expansion across additional European markets.

This partnership positions CamCom Technologies at the forefront of global insurance innovation. Leveraging its proprietary Large Vision Model (LVM) – the world’s first domain-specific AI engine for surface defect and damage detection – CamCom enables customers to easily upload images of vehicles or properties via smartphones.

The platform performs fast, auditable, and highly accurate damage assessments, transforming the traditional claims and underwriting processes with automation and transparency.

The collaboration reflects ERGO Group AG’s larger strategic goal to become a digital leader in insurance by 2025. This global deployment follows CamCom’s success with HDFC ERGO in India, where the technology has significantly improved claim processing accuracy and customer experience.

CamCom Technologies AI Platform in Use by 15 Insurance Companies

CamCom’s AI platform is already in use by more than 15 insurance companies globally and complies with stringent regional data policies such as GDPR in Europe and IRDAI regulations in India. This partnership is subject to applicable approvals from regulatory authorities, including IRDAI.
